Thomas M. Adam, who helped grow and shape Berger-Seidle for 50 years, died Jan. 4, 2024, after a short but serious illness. He was 71.
Adam joined the German company in 1974, working with his father, Franz Adam, as a managing partner.
“As an outstanding entrepreneur, he played a key role in developing our company substantially over the last five decades,” Berger-Seidle said in a statement. “Thanks to his vision, his willingness to invest, his value-based Christian business ethics and his tireless commitment to the company, the Berger Group has developed into a globally successful specialist.”
In 2001, Adam’s son, Markus, joined the company as a managing partner, continuing the family’s entrepreneurial legacy.
“Thomas M. Adam was a valued leader and role model for our Berger family, both personally and professionally,” the company added. “His work in our midst will remain unforgotten. 2024 marks his 50th anniversary at the Berger Group. We deeply honor his legacy and his entrepreneurial achievements.”
