The square foot sales of floor coverings in the U.S. are projected to grow 2.5% in the first quarter of 2024, according to Catalina Research.
The increase follows a 1.9% gain recorded in the fourth quarter of 2023. The projected rise in square foot sales was based on an estimated jump in the square footage floor coverings imports in the fourth quarter of 2023.
The increases follow five consecutive quarters of declining square foot sales of floor coverings, according to Catalina.
