Franchise company Footprints Floors is celebrating its 15th anniversary. The company began in the Denver market in the garage of founder Bryan Park in 2008 as a company specializing in installing hardwood floors, tile floors, backsplashes and laminates.
Five years later, due to the overwhelming amount of work, he began franchising the business in Colorado. After four franchises were established there, in 2019 he decided to expand the company beyond Colorado. Today there are 87 franchisees in more than 160 territories.
“The past 15 years seem to have flown by, but it's enjoyable to reflect on where we started back then,” Park stated. “We’ve come a long way, but even after all those years, I feel like we are just getting started. Countless opportunities lie ahead of us. Our journey hasn't reached a plateau; in fact, we're eagerly anticipating the next chapter.”
Parks says there are two significant milestones. The first was eight years ago, when he was able to stop working in the field full time and spend more time with his family—creating work/life balance he also envisions for his franchisees. The second was launching the company's First Fruits Fund philanthropic arm, which allocates 25% of the brand’s profits to benefiting various non-profits. Since launching First Fruits Fund, Footprints Floors has donated funding, materials and volunteered hours to various nonprofits.
