U.S. Hardwood Flooring Imports Dip 15% in April

Imports of hardwood flooring to the United States fell 15% in April, according to the International Tropical Timber Organization.

From March to April, imports from Brazil declined nearly 50%, and imports from Thailand fell more than 10%.

Compared with April last year, imports are down 70% from Malaysia and 46% from Indonesia. 

Total imports of hardwood flooring are down 21% from this time last year.
