Floor & Decor President Trevor Lang announced his retirement from the company Sept. 3, kicking off a search for his successor.
Lang worked for Floor & Decor for 13 years, joining the company as its senior vice president and chief financial officer in 2011. He was promoted to executive vice president of professional services and chief financial officer in 2014 and to president in 2022.
“Trevor has been a key partner of mine in leading Floor & Decor,” Floor & Decor’s CEO Tom Taylor said in a statement. “He has been an important part of our growth, and we would not be where we are today without his leadership of so many aspects of our business. I’m grateful that he has agreed to remain in the role as long as needed to facilitate a smooth succession process. I am eager to continue steering the Company’s growth with the ongoing support of our dedicated team.”
