The construction industry had 248,000 job openings on the last day of July, a 51,000 decrease from the last month, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey.
Construction job openings were down 29.3%, representing 103,000 fewer jobs between July 2024 and July 2023.
