National Home Prices Rose 5.9% in Q2

Home prices appreciated across all 50 states from the second quarter of 2023 to the second quarter of 2024, according to the House Price Index released by the Federal Housing Finance Agency.

Nationally, house prices rose 5.9% in the second quarter of 2024 compared with the second quarter of 2023.

West Virginia had the highest price appreciation with a 10.4% increase, while Louisiana had the lowest price growth—1.5%.
