Kährs Group (Nybro, Sweden) reported a 16% decline in net sales from the third quarter of 2023 compared with the third quarter of 2024, for a total of SEK 533 million ($48.3 million USD).
The company’s profits amounted to SEK -4 million in the third quarter, compared with 36 million in profits in the third quarter of 2023.
“Sales in the residential segment were somewhat weaker than expected during the quarter, where we saw a slow-down in renovation and remodeling, especially during the summer months in the Nordics,” CEO Johan Magnusson said in a statement. “New construction weakened further, and demand for interior products was lower in the USA, where the market was cautious.”
