When looking to renovate their homes, homeowners say their biggest struggles are finding someone they trust, getting detailed proposals or estimates, and receiving timely and accurate communication, according to a Houzz survey of users who recently finished or are planning a home renovation.
During the renovation, homeowners said they wanted transparency and communication. The survey found that 41% said a clear project timeline improved their experience, and 40% wished they had received better communication from the pros.
