Flooring supplier Mohawk Industries Inc. expects to incur annual costs of about $50 million in 2025 because of tariffs, the company said during a first-quarter earnings call May 2.
As a result of the increased costs, Mohawk plans to increase prices. Tariff-related costs are anticipated to influence results starting in late third-quarter 2025.
The company said it increased its inventory levels in preparation of the tariffs being implemented.
