Flooring industry leaders emphasized data transparency and supply chain collaboration initiatives in the flooring industry at the recent Flooring Sustainability Summit in Washington, D.C. July 16–17.
Takeaways from the summit included the need for collaboration to foster alignment, share best practices and create solutions.
Participants of the convention also said sustainability remains central to business strategies across the flooring industry.
The Flooring Sustainability Summit was co-hosted by the Carpet and Rug Institute, Natural Stone Institute, National Wood Flooring Association, Resilient Floor Covering Institute, Tile Council of North America and North American Laminate Flooring Association.
The 2026 summit will be held July 15–16.
