The International Woodworking Fair announced the launch of “IWF West,” which will take place in San Antonio, Texas, Aug. 25–27, 2027, at the San Antonio Henry B. González Convention Center.
“When the doors open to the first IWF West Trade Show and Conference in August of 2027, buyers and exhibitors will enjoy an all-new experience unlike any in IWF Atlanta’s 50-plus year history,” IWF Atlanta officials said in a statement. IWF Atlanta takes place every two years.
The new show will feature a selection of educational and networking events that echo the Atlanta conference's programming, IWF said in a news release, but it
will offer a more relaxed show environment than IWF Atlanta, allowing buyers time to explore the products and services they might have missed at IWF Atlanta. It will also offer customized business-building learning and professional development opportunities featuring wood products technology and design experts.
