Floor & Decor Profits Increase 10.8% in Q3, New CEO Announced

Floor & Decor (Atlanta) announced that its net income in the third quarter was $57.3 million, a 10.8% increase from the third quarter of 2024. Net sales for the  quarter were $1,179.5 million, an increase of 5.5% from $1,117.9 million in the third quarter of fiscal 2024.

Comparable store sales during the quarter decreased 1.2%.

Third quarter diluted earnings per share were $0.53, a 10.4% increase from $0.48 in the same period in 2024.

"This result exceeded the high end of our guidance and marks our second consecutive quarter of double-digit EPS growth, a testament to our operational discipline amid persistently soft demand in the hard surface flooring industry," stated Tom Taylor, CEO.

The company opened five new warehouse stores and a distribution center during the quarter, bringing the company total to 262 warehouse stores, five design studios and five distribution centers.

Floor & Decor also announced it has appointed Bradley Paulsen, currently president, as CEO and to its board of directors, effective at the start of the company’s 2026 fiscal year on December 26, 2025.

The company's current CEO, Thomas Taylor, will transition to the role of executive chair of the board; he will remain actively involved in shaping Floor & Decor’s long-term vision for strategic growth and supporting the company’s continued expansion toward 500 warehouse stores.
