Retail Flooring Courses Meant to Reduce Callbacks Open for Registration

Two retail flooring team training courses put on by Flooring Consultants and Inspection Training Services are now open for registration. Both of the December sessions feature the same hands-on curriculum, focused on strengthening communication across departments, reducing costly customer callbacks and implementing installation best practices, says FCITS.

Attendees can register for one of two sessions: Dec. 16–17 at RC Willey in Salt Lake City, or Dec. 18–19 at Hilton Garden Inn Lehi in Lehi, Utah.

Meant to reduce customer service expenses and bolster profit margins for flooring retailers, course topics include:

  • How to prevent common problems in the field
  • How to recognize issues early on
  • Proper site preparation and installation conditions
  • How to select the best product for each environment
  • RH guidelines for Hybrid/SPCs
  • Correct use of moisture meters

Courses will be led by FCITS and CFI-certified trainers.

FCITS encourages the following attendees to register:

  • Retail sales professionals
  • Site assessment and measure teams
  • Installers and crew leaders
  • Customer service and claims teams
  • Installation and store managers
  • Contractors

No prerequisites are required. Certificates of completion will be provided.

Cost to attend is $500 per participant. Group pricing is available for teams of 15 or more participants. Seats are limited.
