Month-over-month pending home sales decreased 5.4% in June, according to the National Association of Realtors’ Pending Home Sales report. Year-over-year, sales declined 0.3%.
Single-family home permits issued nationwide over the first five months of the year fell from 404,977 to 380,130, a 6.1% decrease, compared with the same period last year, according to the National Association of Home Builders. Regionally, single-family permits decreased in all four regions year-over-year.
