Connor Sports Installs Hardwood Court at Chicago Board of Trade

Connor Sports (Crystal Falls, Mich.), a Gerflor company, installed a custom hardwood half-court in the trading pit of the Chicago Board of Trade for the Chicago finals of the Jordan Brand "The One" one-on-one global basketball tournament, held July 24. It was the first sporting surface of any kind placed in the venue, the world's oldest derivatives exchange, founded in 1848.

The half-court was manufactured from sustainably harvested first-grade northern hard maple at Connor's production mill in Crystal Falls, Mich., then finished—sanding, sealing, lining and graphic placement—by partner QHF Sports (San Marcos, Texas).
