Kährs Group (Malmö, Sweden) appointed Ulrika Klinkert chief marketing officer, effective August 18. Klinkert reports directly to President and Chief Executive Officer Johan Magnusson.
Klinkert joined Kährs from RugVista AB, where she spent eight years as CMO, repositioning the business away from performance marketing and toward a brand-driven strategy. During her tenure there, she built an in-house marketing team, guided the company through its initial public offering and oversaw the group's customer data platform. An engineer by training, she previously held marketing leadership roles at Betsson Group, Kjell & Company and Hilding Anders International.
"Ulrika brings a rare mix of engineering rigor, data-driven marketing and genuine brand craftsmanship—exactly the combination we need as we take the next step in our digital transformation," Magnusson said.
At Kährs, Klinkert will be responsible for the group's digital brand strategy and customer journey across its brands and markets, working closely with the sales, e-commerce and IT functions.
"Kährs is a company with a long history and a strong legacy, now going through exactly the kind of transformation I find most rewarding to be part of," Klinkert said. "I'm looking forward to working with the teams across our brands to sharpen our digital presence and build customer journeys that live up to the quality of the products."
