Stauf USA (Cordova, Tenn.) appointed Phillip Lopez southwestern regional director, where he will be responsible for distribution and technical support for the Houston, Austin and San Antonio regions.
Lopez joins Stauf with a strong technical background and distribution proficiency from his 11 years at Building Plastics, Inc (Memphis, Tenn.), where he managed a multi-division sales territory as an account manager.
“We look forward to working with Phillip and welcome his knowledge and skill set to Stauf USA,” VP of Sales and Marketing David Ford said. “He has a unique ability to combine both sales and technical, which is a rarity in today’s market.”
“One of the things I’ve learned over the years is that the flooring industry is built on relationships,” Lopez said in a LinkedIn post. “While my role may be changing, many of those relationships won’t. I’m looking forward to continuing to work with many of the same great people, just from a different side of the business.”
