WFB Briefs: U.S. Hardwood Exports to India Surge 228%; Greenbuild Conference Features Dan Levy

U.S. hardwood lumber exports to India increased a “remarkable” 228% in the first half of 2021, the American Hardwood Export Council reported. Total exports of U.S. hardwood lumber reached $3.7 million USD, up from $615,000 during the first six months of 2020.

The U.S. Green Building Council announced the 2021 Greenbuilt International Conference and Expo will feature a conversation with Dan Levy, who co-created the popular Emmy-award-winning show Schitt’s Creek with his father, comedian Eugene Levy. Dan Levy will take the main stage at Greenbuild Sept. 22 at the San Diego Convention Center. Greenbuild will be held both virtually and in-person Sept. 21–23.
