Wood floor pro Courtney Lee is getting the word out about what he sees as a largely untapped segment of the wood flooring industry: maintenance.
Lee, who owns and operates Lawrenceville, Ga.-based Truman’s Hardwood Floor Cleaning and Refinishing, has found success since transitioning his company to focus on wood floor buff-and-coats full-time. In the latest episode of the All Things Wood Floor podcast, Lee talks shop with host Stephen Diggins about handling wood flooring maintenance and restorations in the Atlanta market and beyond. Lee also chats about starting his career in carpet cleaning, flooring education and building his popular YouTube channel.
Lee and Diggins also discuss race in the wood flooring industry and Lee’s experience as a Black flooring contractor today.
