The day went well and the job is done. Two things came to mind today. One: Even if we are not happy with the house we were working in, we still did the best work we could. Our repair areas along with the sanding look great. The crews just know to do the best work and never allow the things around us drive or desire to be the best we can be.

Thing Two: was How can we find better ways to reduce cost for supplies, shipping costs and the timeline to get our supplies? Not having a dealer closer than 1½ hour away is our big battle. I can keep more of the small stuff in storage, but will ordering large and keeping it in the shop help me? Just wondering how folks in small markets like mine, where UPS and FedEx is the best time saver, handle this. What is the best thing to do?
We start a small job in the morning with the desire to finish it by Friday around 4 p.m. so we can get a nap and start the overnight 3,000 foot job. Like I said in yesterday's post, we will work all night to get the seal coat on. It will be a long day; however I am looking forward to the job. We'll have all hands on deck, with two big machines and two edgers all going with the DC vacs, hose, cords and boys just making noise. I know that as the night get longer we will cut up and have a ball.
