Exports of solid wood flooring from China rose 18 percent to 328,100 metric tons during the first nine months of 2010, according to the International Tropical Timber Organization. These exports are valued at $499 million, a 15 percent increase over the value of solid wood flooring exports during the same period in 2009. Likewise, exports of wood veneer from China increased 32 percent to 83,000 metric tons, and increased 22 percent in value to $156 million. The report containing these figures can be viewed here.
