During the National Wood Flooring Association's (NWFA) annual meeting on Wednesday, the following members were voted to serve an initial three-year term on the association's board of directors: Wayne Cotton, Wheeler Inc., a Division of JJ Haines & Company Inc. (Pompano Beach, Fla.); Mark Elwell, Bamboo Flooring Hawaii (Honolulu); Enos Farnsworth, Basic Coatings (Toledo, Ohio); Barry Gork, Timbermate USA (Chicago); Jamie Lupresto, Diamond Flooring (Elizabethtown, Ky.); Jim Schumacher, 3M (Annandale, N.J.); and John Lessick, Apex Wood Floors (Downer's Grove, Ill.), who was elected to serve an additional term.
Current board members who will continue to serve include: Tommy Maxwell, Maxwell Hardwood Floors (Monticello, Ark.); Bob Haggard, Hassell & Hughes Lumber Co. (Collinwood, Tenn.); John Wooten, CMH Flooring Products Inc. (Wadesboro, N.C.); Sprigg Lynn, Universal Floors Inc. (Washington, D.C); Kevin Mullany, Benchmark Wood Floors Inc. (Albuquerque, N.M.); and Kim Holm, Mannington Wood Floors (Salem, N.J.).
Directors who completed their terms on the board at the meeting include: Tom Anstett, Powernail Company Inc. (Lake Zurich, Ill.); Dewevai Buchanan, Style Limited (Perth, Australia); David Graf, Graf Brothers Flooring Inc. (South Shore, Ky.); Glen Miller, Superior Flooring (Etobicoke, Ontario); and Don Finkell, Anderson Hardwood Floors (Clinton, S.C.).
The NWFA's board of directors is the association's governing body and is responsible for its management and operations. It consists of four officers and 11 directors; each is voted into office by NWFA members to serve a three-year term.
