Domotex Middle East will take place September 12-14 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates; this will be the sixth year for this show. In 2010, organizers say this event drew 4,864 visitors from 75 countries, along with 178 exhibitors from 34 countries.
The next Domotex Asia/ChinaFloor will be held March 27-29, 2012, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. In 2011, this show drew 1,060 exhibitors and 39,343 attendees.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) has named Patrick Little chief operations officer at the group's international headquarters in Bonn, Germany. In this new role for the FSC, Little will develop technical and administration operations in support of the group's activities in more than 50 countries throughout the planet. Little, who is from Ireland, has a background in the telecommunications industry; he started in his new position on June 1.
Leitz Tooling Systems (Grand Rapids, Mich.) has appointed Dale Hatfield customer service/production at its Jasper, Ind., manufacturing center. Hatfield has a background in customer service, as well as woodworking.
