Cali Bamboo (San Diego), along with the Surfrider Foundation, launched the National Greenscape Challenge on Monday to promote eco-friendly landscape and garden designs.
Participants must submit sustainable landscaping projects, including photos and a brief description, on the contest page by July 31 for a chance at the grand prize: An all-expense-paid trip with a guest to Surfrider's Celebrity Expression Session in Malibu, Calif.
"This challenge is a great opportunity for people across the U.S. to showcase their landscape or garden projects that were designed with conservation, permeability and retention in mind," said Jeff Goldberg, CEO and president of Cali Bamboo.
