Bamboo Hardwoods (Seattle) has a new owner and CEO and is in the midst of completely overhauling its business operations.
The company, which was founded in 1996, recently announced that it is closing its retail outlets and transitioning to wholesale-exclusive operations for bamboo flooring and related products. It is also launching national distribution of products bearing the Bamboo Hardwoods brand, and it has named Hardwood Flooring Distributors (Seattle) its exclusive distributor for the new brand in the Pacific Northwest region. Other new executives include David Keegan, COO, and Hugh Gallagher, CFO.
"This company now has the backing and team it needs to really establish Bamboo Hardwoods as the premier brand of bamboo flooring," Maritz said. In addition, Maritz is seeking new distribution partners throughout the U.S. for its product lines, which also includes a line of FSC-certified bamboo flooring.
