Harvard University has weighed in on the housing bust through publishing "Bigger Isn't Necessarily Better: Lessons from the Harvard Home Builder Study," which was released recently by Lexington Books. The book, featuring research conducted by Harvard's Joint Center for Housing Studies, discusses how American homebuilders were immensely profitable during the housing boom, but did little to improve the efficiency of their operations.
