Shaw Industries Inc. (Dalton, Ga.) has become the fifth member of the NWFA's Responsible Procurement Program, which verifies that all domestic lumber being utilized in its facilities is being sourced from U.S. renewing forests.

Anderson Hardwood Floors, a subsidiary of Shaw Industries, became the first company to receive RPP certification in 2008. Additional members of the program include Augusta Flooring, Mannington Floors, Mullican Flooring and Sheoga Hardwood Flooring & Paneling.
To attain the certification, Shaw underwent a third-party audit conducted by Scientific Certification Systems (SCS). For more information on RPP, visit the NWFA website here.
