Former director of Shaw Flooring Network Scott Humphrey has been selected as the CEO of the World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) effective April 1. Humphrey will be filling the office left by the late D. Christopher Davis.
Humphrey comes to the position after 25 years with Shaw Industries. As CEO he will serve as the WFCA spokesman to the media and the industry, direct the creation of national trade and consumer advertising campaigns and develop partnerships with other organizations.
"Scott came to our attention because of his proven ability as an inspiring leader, his strong execution skills, his phenomenal track record for success and his capacities as a visionary," said Harold Chapman, chairman of the WFCA board. "His vast and direct industry experience will be an invaluable asset for the WFCA. He is a true professional, and I am confident that he will take the WFCA to new heights."
