Social Media Updates for the 2013 NWFA Expo

The National Wood Flooring Association is making it easier than ever to navigate and engage with the upcoming 2013 NWFA Wood Flooring Expo in Dallas using smartphones and social media. The association has created an app for Apple and Android products and a Twitter hashtag so exhibitors can engage with each other and the event.

The free "NWFA 2013" app, available through iTunes, Google Android Market, the RIM Blackberry AppWorld and Windows Mobile AppStars, keeps an event schedule, lists of exhibitors, sponsors and attendees at users' fingertips, features links to NWFA and Hardwood Floors social media and provides information about restaurants and hotel amenities.

To suit the theme of this year's Expo, "Think Big," the NWFA (@NWFA_WoodFloors) has created the hashtag #NWFAThinkBig for attendees to share their big ideas with everyone on Twitter, and they can comment on the show with the #NWFAExpo hashtag. The association will also be tweeting the Big Ideas posted on the bulletin board at the Expo with the hashtag.

Also on Twitter, HGTV's celebrity contractors "Cousins on Call" Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri, who will be hosting the Wood Floor of the Year awards, will be interacting and answering questions; follow them on Twitter at @CousinsTV.
