Wood Flooring Technology July 8-11 is a pilot program being held in conjunction with Chattahoochee Technical College in Marietta, Ga. Several seasoned industry professionals will lead instruction on the basics of wood flooring installation. While this event is currently sold out, on Friday, July 11, members are invited to participate in a free networking event with the students to share their experiences.

The following workshops will be held at the NWFA Headquarters in St. Louis:
Reclaimed Wood/Handscraping on Friday, July 26, will offer the wood flooring professional a better understanding of reclaimed wood. Carol Goodwin of Goodwin Heart Pine (Micanopy, Fla.) will teach how to skillfully specify and integrate reclaimed wood into design. The skill of hand-scraping will be shared by well-known wood flooring professionals the second part of the day.
Craftsmanship: Advanced to Expert on Saturday, July 27, provides an eye-opening experience to accomplish high-end skills such as building custom jigs, cutting tapered boards, bending wood, free-hand routing, marquetry, inlays and job costing.
