Mullican Announces Wood Flooring Price Increase

Mullican Flooring will raise prices 7 percent on all flooring, effective Feb. 1. The move comes in the wake of several other wood flooring manufacturers increasing prices over the past six months. "As the demand for quality wood flooring has increased over the past two years, the severe shortage of lumber has resulted in rising costs for raw materials industrywide," Brian Greenwell, vice president of sales and marketing for Johnson City, Tenn.-based Mullican, said in a statement.
