The Tennessee Housing Development Agency, in cooperation with Operation Finally Home, which since 2005 has been giving homes at no cost to wounded and disabled veterans, surprised Montavon a month ago with the news that he and his wife, Sasha, would be receiving a remodeled home in Clarksville, Tenn. NWFA members volunteered on the last day of the Expo to lay the wood floor.

NWFA member companies pitched in as well, donating gifts, money, tools and supplies, wood products and expertise. Here are the companies and their donations: 3M, a gift basket to the Montavons; All American Hardwood, oversaw the job site; BPI, helped with logistics; Bona US, donated a cleaning kit to the family; CDC Larue, made a monetary donation to Operation Finally Home; Flooring Pro Fasteners, logistics, tools and monetary donation to Operation Finally Home; Jeffco Flooring & Supply, logistics; Mohawk Flooring, wood flooring and underlayment; Precision Flooring Products Inc., reducers and quarter round; and Stanley-Bostitch, miter saw for installation and a compressor for Operation Finally Home.
