One version of the homes that will be built on the Fort Peck Reservation was displayed at Dwell on Design in May. The homes feature Shaw’s Epic engineered hardwood in the Meridian style.
The homes by Make It Right, an organization founded in 2007 by actor Brad Pitt that builds homes for communities in need, will be solar-powered, have three to four bedrooms and two to three bathrooms. They will be available for tribe members with incomes at or below 60 percent of the area median income.
The homes will feature Shaw’s Epic engineered hardwood in the Meridian style.
Shaw also donated flooring for past Make It Right projects, including a build of more than 100 homes in the Lower Ninth Ward in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
