The Philadelphia Floor Store, four weeks since a fire destroyed its inventory and headquarters in Conshohocken, Pa., has resumed deliveries to Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
The company plans to ship nationwide and reopen online ordering later this month. Its latest video, viewable on YouTube, describes the obstacles the company has faced over the last month.
"We’re not yet operating at the same capacity as we were before the fire, but the PFS team will do whatever it takes to keep our customers happy, whether that means taking longer trips for deliveries or working into the night to coordinate orders," said Joe Glavin, national sales manager and co-owner of Philly Floor, in a statement.
The company’s temporary warehouse, which was a generous donation from a local small business owner, has been stocked with products from leading manufacturers, including 3M, Bona US and Norton. A list of available inventory can be viewed on Philly Floor’s blog.
"Make no mistake, the Floor Store is still in business," said Mike Glavin, owner and founder. "We’ve hardly let the fire slow us down.”
