Nydree Flooring (Forest, Va.), utilizing the National Wood Flooring Association’s member-sponsored training program, hosted the association’s Certified Sales workshop on Aug. 28.
Thirty-six of Nydree’s employees and independent agents learned how to sell wood flooring and help customers make informed decisions. The workshop was led by NWFA regional instructor Jon Namba of Namba Services Inc. of Salt Lake City.
Jason Brubaker, VP of sales and marketing for Nydree, said he would highly recommend the program for other NWFA member companies.
“This course goes beyond sales tactics, as it teaches sales personnel how to be a partner and resource throughout the entire project to ensure the best possible outcome,” he said in an email. “There is a lot of misinformation in the marketplace, and this course can help all parties involved in a project to save time and money in the long run.”
Member-sponsored schools cost $1,000 per day, plus instructor expenses. For more information, contact NWFA’s Tricia Swindoll or Brett Miller.
