INSTALL, the International Standards & Training Alliance, named three flooring contractors to the status of INSTALL Warranty Contractor.
American Floor Covering (Avon, Ind.); Tri-State Flooring, Pittsburgh; and Weiffenbach Marble and Tile Co., Clayton, Ohio have joined an elite group of 32 companies that have received the Warranty Contractor title. The title requires that 100 percent of the labor force is INSTALL-certified, and that the company is in good financial standing, committed to fair labor practices and proven to perform at a high level.
INSTALL also introduced a Certified Installation Manager scholarship program to support one installation manager’s training.
The scholarship is worth $1,000, and applications are due Oct. 31. The winner will be announced Nov. 6.
