The National Wood Flooring Association added two Intermediate Installation schools to its technical education schedule that will take place Nov. 30 and Dec. 7 in Vancouver, Canada, and Portland, Ore., respectively.
The instructor for both schools will be NWFA Regional Instructor Kjell Nymark of Precision Hardwood Floor Services Inc., based in Coquitlam, British Columbia.
The Vancouver school takes place Nov. 30–Dec. 4 at Carpenters Training Center. The Portland school takes place Dec. 7–10 at the Cronin Company.
There are seven other educational events between now and Intermediate Installation schools:
Advanced Installation at NWFA headquarters; Oct. 12–15. Advanced Sand & Finish at NWFA headquarters; Oct. 19–22. Wood Flooring Manufacturers Assembly at NWFA headquarters; Oct. 26–27. One-day Educational Workshops, including Wood Floor Repair, Job Site Preparation and Moisture Testing and an Architect and Designer course, in Kennesaw, Ga.; Oct. 27–30. Retail Sales in Micanopy, Fla.; Nov. 6. 2015 Report Writing Workshop at NWFA headquarters; Nov. 11. Installation/Sand & Finish Certification Training and Testing in Elk Grove Village, Ill.; Nov. 11–13.
