Goodfellow Signs Letter of Intent to Acquire Quality Hardwoods Ltd.

Goodfellow Inc. (Delson, Quebec) signed a non-binding letter of intent to acquire Quality Hardwoods Ltd., a lumber manufacturer and distributor located in Powassan, Ontario.

Quality Hardwoods’ history dates back to 1981. The company currently employs 30 full- and part-time employees at its 20-acre site in Powassan, three hours north of Toronto. Goodfellow would retain all of the company’s employees, according to a statement.

“Quality Hardwood is an excellent company with a long and positive track record,” the statement said. “We are privileged to be associated with this business under this transaction.”
