On Dec. 28, Mannington Mills Inc. (Salem, N.J.) reached its 100th year of operation and celebrated the milestone by releasing a 25-minute documentary.
The documentary traces the company’s path from Dec. 28, 1915, through two world wars, 16 recessions, three fires and five generations of family ownership to its global presence in today’s floor covering industry.
“Our company has gone through recessions, we’ve had tough years, we’ve had great years,” said Zack Zehner, senior VP distribution networks and customer service, in the video.
But the company persevered and created a legacy that its founder, John B. Campbell, would be proud of, he said.
