Gilford Flooring Inc. (Jeffersonville, Ind.) and Johnson Wholesale Floors Inc. (Atlanta) have merged to become Gilford-Johnson Flooring.
The announcement was accompanied with a video discussing the merger:
The company plans to expand the business with acquisitions and new product lines in the future.
“We are excited to bring these two historically successful companies together with their shared business philosophies and core values," said Jonathan Blue, chairman and managing director of Blue Equity LLC, the majority shareholder of Gilford, in a statement. "We look forward to being a part of the future of the Gilford-Johnson Flooring family.”
The merger will give the company a presence in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina and Florida.
