Lumber Liquidators Increases Board From Eight to Nine Members

Lumber Liquidators (Toano, Va.) added one more seat on its board of directors on March 24, and appointed Steven Cannon to fill it, according to an SEC filing.

Cannon is the chairperson of Constantine Cannon LLP law firm, a position he has held since 2007. From 1994 to 2005, Cannon was the senior VP, general counsel and secretary of Circuit City Stores Inc.

Lumber Liquidators also announced that its general corporate counsel, Livingston Haskell, will end his employment with the company on June 1. The board of directors appointed Jill Witter, currently the company’s chief compliance and legal officer, to take over Haskell’s position.
