Q.E.P. Co. Inc. (Johnson City, Tenn.) acquired XPS Foam Limited, a manufacturer of recyclable extruded polystyrene underlayment solutions for solid wood, engineered wood, laminate and LVT.
“It’s an exciting time for QEP, as this acquisition further strengthens our manufacturing and supply base,” said Leonard Gould, president, in a statement. “The quality of the underlayment produced will present opportunities throughout the QEP Global Network.”
The acquisition will allow Q.E.P. to offer customers a wider selection of professional underlayment solutions, the company’s statement said.
Q.E.P. owns a number of brands, including Harris Wood, Porta-Nails, Capitol Adhesives and Roberts, among others.
