The North American Association of Floor Covering Distributors released its 2016 NAFCD Profit Analysis Report for distributor members.
The report features detailed financial results drawn from income statements, balance sheets and operating data supplied by participating distribution firms in the floor covering industry. This year’s report features new Key Performance Indications, such as sample and display expense, freight recovery, online sales and electronic data interchange between trading partners.
“This exclusive data comes directly from independent, privately owned distributors and thus cannot be found elsewhere.” said Kevin Gammonley, NAFCD executive vice president, in a statement. “[The report] provides flooring distributors with a valuable benchmarking tool to compare themselves to distributors of like size as well as the overall distributor community while also providing them with specific ways to enhance their productivity and profitability.”
