Lowe’s Companies Inc. appointed Michael McDermott as its chief customer officer, effective immediately.
As CCO, McDermott is responsible for creating experiences that best serve customers. He will lead strategy, customer insights and customer marketing. McDermott will continue his responsibilities as chief merchandising officer, a position he held since 2014, including overseeing the company’s full merchandising offering for all of Lowe’s stores and Lowes.com.
