Report: China Introduces ‘Formaldehyde-Free’ Plywood Adhesive

China introduced a ‘formaldehyde-free’ adhesive technology for the production of plywood earlier in November, according to Sanwen.

The plywood produced using this technology emits formaldehyde at a 0.015 ppm, which is lower than the California Air Resource Board standard of 0.05 ppm for hardwood plywood veneer core and composite core.
