Pioneer Millworks (Farmington, N.Y.) hired Sierra Murphy to its sales staff.
Murphy, whose official title is reclaimed wood and design expert, will be tasked with sales responsibilities in the Seattle and Vancouver markets. She most recently spent time as a talent specialist in the tech industry. Murphy was raised in the reclaimed wood and timber framing industries and has a knack for sustainable products, the company said in a statement.
“I enjoyed my time in the tech industry, but my roots are in the reclaimed wood industry,” Murphy said. “I’m ready to come back home to the world of real sawdust and combine my love of design with my passion for helping people.”
Meanwhile, Pioneer Millworks Reclaimed Wood and Design Expert Elise Payne has expanded her territory to include Portland and all of Oregon, in addition to her continued support of the Montana, Wyoming and Idaho markets.
