Mike Zoellner will retire as Mohawk Industries (Dallas) vice president of marketing services after serving the company for 40 years.

Zoellner started for then-Mohawk-owned Cort Furniture Rental in 1977 as a software developer. He started working for Mohawk in 1982 in various operations roles, including customer service, samples, production planning, supply chain management and sales, and he eventually became the leader of information services. He entered the marketing division of Mohawk in 1996.

“Not only is Mike Zoellner an all-around inspirational person, but he has made significant contributions to the Mohawk organization over the years as well as the flooring industry, in general,” said Karen Mendelsohn, Mohawk’s senior vice president of marketing, in a statement. “On behalf of Mohawk Industries, I’d like to thank Mike for his years of dedicated service.”
