"Now’s the time,” seller Dylan Johnson told WLTX 19 in Columbia.
The floor is up for sale on Craigslist for $45,000. It measures 6,272 square feet when assembled. The floor is from the Carolina Coliseum, which was the Gamecock’s main arena from 1968 to 2002. One of the floor’s 4-by-8-foot panels was used to create coffee tables, otherwise the floor is intact.
“If I am going to be able to save this and not just have somebody turn it into a blank slate again, this is the time I had to push for it and see if we could keep it here in South Carolina, keep it intact, or at least keep it what it is,” Johnson told WLTX 19.
