Sales for the quarter were $782 million SEK ($89.94 million USD), an increase of 12.5 percent from first quarter 2016 sales of $695 million SEK ($79.94 million USD). Hardwood flooring accounted for 87 percent of all sales in the first quarter of 2017.
”Kährs Group performed well during the first quarter 2017, with increased sales and improved operating profit,” said President and CEO Christer Persson in a statement. “All four segments contributed to the sales increase of 13 percent, with the strongest growth in the Nordics and Resilient Global segments, which grew by 18 and 27 percent, respectively.”
